Footlocker National Champion Drew Griffith on committing to Notre Dame, getting to the top and more

from Running In Circles · host Zach Hamilton

Today I’m joined by Footlocker National Champion Drew Griffith! Drew is one of the fastest high school runners in the nation right now and he’s committed to run at Notre Dame in the fall. During the 2023 cross country season he won the Footlocker National meet and most recently he ran an 8:38 3200 on an indoor track but it was oversized so it won’t count for a national record but really it should. On this episode we discuss everything from his worst racing experience to his passion for engineering and more. Keep an out for him this season as he’s gonna throw down some monstrous races in the post season.
