Vs 17 Jesus didn’t come to condemn sinners, but to convert them and save them from spiritual death. Vs 18 People don’t go to hell because they sin; they go to hell because they refuse to trust in Christ’s payment for their sin. Vs 19-20 People who love their sin hate Christ, and refuse His free gift of salvation. Vs 21 People who are forgiven by Christ want to fellowship with Christ everyday. “God”…the greatest Lover “So loved”……the greatest degree “The world”……the greatest number “That He gave”…..the greatest act “His only begotten Son”….the greatest gift “That whosoever”…..the greatest invitation “Believes”…..the greatest simplicity “In Him”….the greatest Person “Should not perish”…..the greatest deliverance “But”….the greatest difference “Have”….the greatest certainty “Eternal Life”……the greatest possession 1.Motive for salvation: God’s love. 2.Object of salvation: the world 3.Action of salvation: God gave His only begotten Son 4.Means of salvation: belief 5.Result of salvation: eternal life.
