For Such a Time as This...

from Heartbeat for Israel · host Heartbeat for Israel

“For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?” Esther 4:14 God is calling Christians throughout the nations to stand with Israel “for such a time as this.” Biblical prophecy is being fulfilled with the ingathering and return of the Jews to their ancient homeland, Israel. We see God’s covenants and promises to the Jewish people being fulfilled, as God watches over His word to perform it. Christians Friends of Israel, founded in 1985, seeks to show unconditional love to the Jewish people, to come alongside to serve and support them in sinking their roots deeply into the land of Israel. Listen to anecdotal stories from Ray and Sharon Sanders, as they share of the different CFI projects, and how deeply these outreaches have impacted the lives of the Jewish people in Israel. It is time to make amends to the Jewish people for the indifference that Christians have expressed to the Jewish people. For such a time as this, we have been called to help. For such a time as this, we are called to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. As Ray and Sharon open their hearts to share, you will hear the love they have for the land and the people of Israel... and your own heart will be stirred. TUNE IN EVERY WEEK! This Impact Studios production is a collaboration with the Governor family, UTS Faculty of Law and Jumbunna Institute for Indigenous Education and Research. The Last Outlaws teamKatherine Biber - UTS Law Professor and Chief InvestigatorAunty Loretta Parsley - Great-granddaughter of Jimmy Governor and the Governor Family Historian Leroy Parsons - Governor descendant, Narrator and Co-WriterKaitlyn Sawrey - Host, Writer and Senior ProducerFrank Lopez - Writer, Managing Next Generation Energy Systems Cambridge University Background Stakeholders working with energy systems have to make complex decisions formulated from risk-based assessments about the future. The move towards more renewables in our energy systems complicates matters even further, requiring the development of an integrated power grid and continuous and steady transformation of the UK power system. Network flows must be managed reliably under uncertain demands, uncertain supply, emerging network technologies and possible failures and, further, prices in related markets can be highly volatile. Mathematicians working with engineers and economists, can make significant contributions to address such issues, by helping to develop fit-for-purpose models for next generation energy systems. These interdisciplinary approaches are looking to address a range of associated problems, including modelling, prediction, simulation, control, market and mechanism design and optimisation.
