For the Culture: Celebrating Degenerate Behavior Will Not Support Black Progress

Black culture is about hood life and hoes. We revel in the success of celebrities without regard for what it takes to make real change in our favor. This needs to end. Instead of pumping up how culture with Cardi B and Meg the Stallion, we should take a second look and promote black beneficial initiatives by artists such as T.I. and Jay-Z. It makes no sense that after celebrating black greatness in Beyonce's latest visual album, we degrade ourselves by celebrating the objectification of the black woman -- and women in general.
