For the One — Week 5

What does God actually see when He looks at our generosity? In this message from the For the One series, Pastor Danny tackles one of the most personal and misunderstood areas of discipleship: giving. But this isn’t a message about pressure, guilt, or equal amounts. It’s a message about trust, surrender, and the posture of our hearts before God. Drawing from Jesus’ teachings and the example of the early church, this episode reframes generosity as a spiritual discipline that shapes who we are becoming. Pastor Danny makes it clear that God is far more interested in the heart behind our giving than the size of our gift, and that generosity is not a transaction to earn God’s favor, but a transformation that loosens our grip on temporary things and strengthens our trust in eternal ones. This message also connects generosity directly to the mission. Every act of faithful giving fuels gospel conversations, changed lives, restored families, and eternal impact for people who aren’t here yet. When we give with open hands, we participate in God’s work of making heaven crowded — one story, one family, one life at a time. If you’ve ever wrestled with trust, control, fear, or surrender when it comes to money, resources, or security, this episode offers biblical clarity and a compelling invitation: live with open hands and invest in what lasts forever. Press play and be challenged to see generosity not as something God wants from you, but something He wants to grow in you.
