On For Your Information this week, my guest is Alexis Cordova, Family and Consumer Sciences Agent (FaCSA) for the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service (TxA&MES), who talked to listeners about the TxA&MES and what a F&CSA does for the service. She explained some of her duties include what was once called Home Economics, including student instruction in Cleveland and other Liberty County high schools, but also covers training consumer service personnel such as food safety for individuals who work in the food-service industry; child care provider training; and much more.
