Guests were Jennifer Battle, Director of The Harris Center’s 24-hour Suicide Crisis Line, and Wykisha McKinney, Board Chair for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) – Southeast Texas Chapter. We talked about the recent deaths of several high profile rock stars due to suicide. We talked about prevention, intervention, and what they call post-vention; the services and needs of those left behind, as well as the needs of someone who may have attempted to kill themselves.
