We talked about Houston’s rich black history, including many significant historical sites, as well as stories of the events and the people who shaped our community. We talked about the many black schools, churches and cemeteries in Houston, as well as the areas designated as wards, and the Camp Logan Mutiny, site of the largest black riot in Texas history.
