For Your Information - July 30th - County Extension Agent

On For Your Information this week, my guest is Amanda Brooks, County Extension Agent overseeing 4H and Youth Development, who spoke to listeners concerning how she: deals with students from all seven school districts in the county; is one of four extension agents in the county; and also educates adults in the county. Brooks explained she goes to all the livestock shows where local 4H members participate from local Cleveland Dairy Day and Livestock Show to livestock shows in San Antonio, Dallas, and Houston. She also went into the many different aspects of 4H from home economics and public speaking to auto mechanics and competition robot engineering and construction.
