For Your Information this week, features my guest, Jim Carson, Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for the Greater Cleveland Chamber of Commerce (GCCoC), who spoke to listeners about the growth, many opportunities, and some of the events in the Greater Cleveland. He talked about one new GCCoC event coming this year and another seeing a major chance. Carson explained a major change in the fall gun show, now known as the Cleveland Outdoor Expo held August 26-27, is this year it will be free to the public where in the past entrance was $5 to $8 per person. He said the show is now a sponsored event with free public participation. Additionally, it will feature outdoor activities for people of all ages including archery, BB gun targeting, fishing seminars, a boat and RV show, to name a few, in addition to what’s become one of the top gun shows in East Texas. Carson also announced the GCCoC will produce a multi-band music event Oct. 21, Cleveland MusicFest.
