On For Your Information this week, my guest is Amy Reagan, spokesperson for the Houston Community Food Bank and the nationwide National Letter Carriers’ Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive as it benefits people in Conroe and Montgomery County who need food-stuff assistance. She told listeners of the May 13 non-profit food drive which asks all who can place any non-perishable food items in bags and leave them next to their mailbox this Saturday. Your local mail-delivery person, your Letter Carrier, will collect the bags of needed food and deliver it to the Houston Community Food Bank which will serve to disburse it to local food distribution organizations in 18 East Texas counties, including Conroe and Montgomery Co. which in turn will get it to needy people in the area.
