On For Your Information this week, my guest is Jim Carson, Greater Cleveland Chamber of Commerce’s Chief Operating Officer, who talked to listeners about the area’s comeback from Hurricane Harvey and highlighted up-coming local events including the inaugural of what the Chamber hopes will be an annual music event held in the city. Scheduled for Oct. 21 from 11:30am until midnight, MusicFest Cleveland features nine professional Texas bands (country, rockabilly, soul/R&B, Zydeco) augmented by numerous acoustic acts at Stancil Expo Arena with local high school jazz bands playing at the civic center.
