We talked about Breast reconstruction as an essential part of cancer care, as it restores a woman’s sense of self and wholeness after partial or complete mastectomy. We discussed the different options a woman has today, two important federal laws regarding mastectomy reconstruction coverage. We also talked about the upcoming Breast Reconstruction Awareness (BRA) Symposium.
