This week we looked at Warren Beatty's 1990 passion project, Dick Tracy. This is a movie Zack saw at the drive-in theater. We have trading cards and movie props from the film in our collection. This movie was so dark that they took the Disney name off of it, and put it in the newly formed Touchstone Pictures instead. This movie had McDonald's cups, Madonna's nipples in a transparent robe, a body count of 23, people being tortured in cement and drowned. All of this and it was rated PG. Join us as we go a little long unpacking it all. Sorry for the slow releases the last few weeks, Covid and healthcare worker shortage has really got us down. Oh, and spoiler alert at 1:06:00 if you really don't want to know the identity of the faceless puppetmaster in a >30 year old movie.
