Ford auctions 2006 GT Heritage Edition- more to come

With an auction of the third production model of the 2006 Ford GT Heritage Edition last weekend, the automaker is opening the door to selling more of the classic vehicles it owns. Ford Heritage and Brand Manager Ted Ryan says the company still owners the numbers one and two production vehicles…and the considerable amount of money raised will be used to help maintain more of Ford’s history…“Every penny from the sale of this car is going to go to support the fleet. You know we’re not budgeted. I don’t get budget every year to maintain and do the work on the fleet. So I’ve been looking for pennies in the couch to try to keep some of these up and running and now I have a little bit better footing to get the fleet maintained over the years.”And for car buffs, Ryan promises some fun surprises ahead.You can find us at Techstination.com.
