Ford Backs Canada’s Tariff Stand | Calgary News

Ontario Premier Doug Ford is firing back with full force, backing PM Mark Carney’s bold move to slap the U.S. with retaliatory tariffs — calling Trump a bully who needs to “kiss my ass” and warning Canada won’t back down. Ford even floated cutting off critical minerals and electricity to the U.S., though he admits it’d need a national plan. After Carney walked away from collapsed trade talks citing unfair U.S. demands, tariffs hit Canadian goods hard — now Canada’s hitting back with $28 billion in products targeted starting September 8th. Ford’s defiant tone? Unshaken — and Trump’s social media jabs only made him louder. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
