from FilmRise True Crime · host FilmRise True Crime

"A bartender is found stabbed to death in a bathroom. A bite mark on her chest becomes the key piece of evidence. A mail carrier is convicted and sentenced to death. But the real killer was still out there."On December 29, 1991, Kim Ancona was murdered in a Phoenix bar [citation:2][citation:5]. Police found a bite mark on her chest, shoe prints, and hair samples [citation:3][citation:5]. The bite mark led them to Ray Krohn, a postal worker who became known as "The Snaggletooth Killer" [citation:2]. He was convicted and sentenced to death [citation:2]. Years later, DNA testing linked Kenneth Phillips to the crime. He had woken up with blood on his hands after an alcoholic blackout [citation:2]. Krohn was exonerated after over a decade in prison [citation:2].
