"Forgive and Be Freed"

August 01, 2024 Daily Devotion: "Forgive and Be Freed" Colossians 3:13 New International Version 13 Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. When you think of the characteristics of bravery, you might think of strength, perseverance, and resilience. Forgiveness probably isn’t something that comes to mind. Forgiving someone isn’t commonly considered an act of bravery. But maybe it should be. Forgiveness is often difficult. It requires us to be strong in the Lord, to persevere in obedience, and to be resilient in extending grace. Just as the Lord forgave us, we are called to do the brave thing and forgive others. Be brave and forgive. Forgive and be freed.
