Forgive—If Only It Were That Easy

In this message of the “Forgiven” series, Pastor Hurmon reminds us why it is important to forgive. Forgiveness sets boundaries without keeping bitterness and liberates you. Forgiveness hands the burden of revenge over to God—and sets you free in the process. Forgiveness does not reduce or deny the severity of the pain we have experienced, nor is it a sign of weakness. Refusing forgiveness can control us, but forgiveness sets us free. Once we admit we have been hurt, we can forgive. Once we forgive, healing follows. Choose to forgive this Holy Week!
