Forgive or Stay Chained: The Command You Can't Pray Your Way Around

Christ forgave a debt you could never repay—so what gives you the right to withhold forgiveness from anyone? Colossians 3:13 does not whisper a suggestion; it commands you to forgive as you have been forgiven, and Matthew 6:14-15 warns that a heart closed to others is a heart closed to grace. From the cross—betrayed, mocked, and dying—Jesus chose to pray, "Father, forgive them," proving no offense you have suffered lies beyond the reach of forgiveness. This episode confronts the bitterness you've been carrying and calls you to release the debt to God, because you cannot walk in Christlike character while holding another person hostage in your heart. We thank you for listening today.
