Forgive Yourself

Have you ever found yourself in a place of failure or brokenness, feeling undeserving of God’s goodness? Have you knowingly sinned and concluded that God has surely abandoned you? Perhaps you have been involved in something you consider so bad that you believe it places you beyond forgiveness. In this message titled “Forgive Yourself,” Pastor Jeffrey Walter exhorts believers to understand self-forgiveness in its true biblical sense—refusing to hold one’s sins against oneself in all ways that disqualify them from the goodness and promises of God. He begins by explaining what forgiveness truly means, emphasizing that God does not hold a person’s sins against them or orchestrate the consequences of their wrongdoing. This teaching reveals the depth of God’s love and corrects common misconceptions about sin, punishment, and separation from God. As you gain clarity on forgiveness, you will be encouraged to release yourself from condemnation and turn fully to the Lord, our true and only Savior. Key Scripture: John 8:11 KJV She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.
