Forgiveness? How do we forgive the unforgivable?

"Each day, I try to reinforce my resolve to the full surrender. Each day I fail."
Does this sound familiar? Why is forgiveness so difficult to accomplish? Maya elucidates that the reality  of prolonged suffering is an appendage of memory, ancestral memory, and relationship to the Past. And that only by elevating ourselves beyond the abyss of "past memory and genetic chaos" by shifting our awareness back to the present can we untether ourselves from the unforgiving acts of violence, disease, disillusionment and despair. Our innate human capacity to awareness is always lit with sentiency, and reclaiming it immediately brings us into our center of balance and harmony.
Here is a very intimate sharing of Forgiveness from Maya's own trove of experiences. She shows us the way in which we can forgive the ignoble, the inhumane by garnering awareness to shift the dehumanizing experience of violence, vileness, and toxicity that create a separation from the our own embodied illumined Self.

I am dedicated to celebrating Black women's power, resilience, and unapologetic brilliance.  The Annex The Harvard Crimson In 2020, Harvard University rebranded the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study as the “Harvard Radcliffe Institute” — a change which many saw as the latest incident in a centuries-long history of the men-dominated University subordinating the legacy of Radcliffe College, the long-time women’s college at Harvard. Radcliffe College started as a small institute labeled “The Harvard Annex,” and many fear it, and the status of women at the University, has been returned to the status of an appendage. The Annex is a podcast from Fifteen Minutes, The Harvard Crimson’s magazine, exploring why so often the histories of higher education appear “womanless,” and that of Harvard appears “Radcliffe-less.” With dozens of interviews with alumnae, professors, and more, and covering over 100 years of women’s struggles at, for, and against the University, host Matteo Wong asks: Who has the power to write Harvard’s history, and how is that changing? Death Priestess Society Freia Serafina Death can be a scary word. I'm here to transform that perception. Death Priestess Society is a podcast dedicated to discussions of women's personal power, sacred mysteries, and forbidden wisdom. Death Priestess Society challenges the myths society has told us about women, witches, and the concept of "death". When I say death, I don't mean a literal or physical death, but a metaphysical, spiritual transformation that sets us on the path towards healing our deepest and scariest wounds. Let's walk this path together.
