Lewis said, “Everyone says forgiveness is a lovely idea until they have something to forgive.” Isn’t that the truth? One of the major reasons we don’t forgive is because we don't understand what forgiveness is or how it works. In one major study, researchers discovered only a handful of people have a coherent, Biblical view of forgiveness. In fact, only 4% of the general population and only 5% of all Christians could separate fact from fiction when it came to forgiveness. That’s sad and that’s something we want to address in this series.
