Forgiveness of Self & Others: Does it let injustice off the hook?

from Self-Care For The Soul

There’s been a common theme coming up in my classes over the past couple of weeks. In uncovering deeper needs, several people have identified the need for forgiveness – forgiveness of self and others. Forgiveness is not always easy because we think we’re letting injustice off the hook. But forgiveness is more about removing the hooks of injustice from yourself – setting yourself free to be a true conduit for love and compassion, and to set clear boundaries when needed. In today’s Prayer & Healing Circle, we’ll be calling on Divine Attributes of Forgiveness to wash away our attachments to past mistakes and gain clarity on lessons learned for the daily human life and for the soul.
