Up to seven times?’" — Matthew 18:21 When Forgiveness Feels Impossible Matthew 18:21 begins one of Jesus' most well-known teachings on forgiveness. Peter believed he was being generous by asking whether forgiving someone seven times was enough. Instead, Jesus responded by expanding Peter's understanding of grace, teaching that forgiveness is not meant to be limited or counted.
