Forgotten but Familiar
from Slice of Life Hosted by Jay Foreman & Rich Weller
Send us a message, we'd love to hear from you. “Oh man, I haven’t thought about that in years!” That’s the kind of reaction Rich and Jay are aiming for in this memory-packed episode of Slice of Life. After a shout-out to Miss West Virginia, who Rich chauffeured in the 98th Shenandoah Apple Blossom Parade, the guys fire up the time machine and dive into the forgotten treasures of growing up. From the smell of mimeograph paper and Kool-Aid mustaches to deadly lawn darts, creepy ice cream truck music, and fruit sticker collections, this nostalgic joyride is full of moments you didn’t know you missed until now. There is nothing quite like the slow-smoked goodness at Gig’s BBQ. From tender pulled pork and fall-off-the-bone ribs to his legendary Hogzilla, every bite is packed with flavor and crafted with care. Gig’s BBQ isn’t fast food, it is real barbecue… smoked low and slow over hickory and oak until perfection.
