Mood rings and peace signs. These are just two of the commonplace things in Americana that have long since disappeared for we Boomers. Although it can be argued that all these things have been replaced by more efficient and better products and/or systems, it is entertaining and heartwarming to look back on them with a kind of wistful fondness.
