We sat down with brothers Trav and Nick Noonan who have been immersed in the racing industry since they were born. Their father, David Noonan, is a horse trainer, and their mother worked for the Greg Eurell and Pat Hyland stables, so the Noonan's are a wealth of knowledge when it comes to Australian thoroughbred racing. Trav is a form analyst and race-caller, having called his first race at the age of 14, and has also worked for Racing.com and is now a form analyst for RSN. Nick on the other hand has found his feet within the Mounting Yard, quickly become one of Victoria's leading Mounting Yard analysts, working with racing establishments like RSN, Racing.com, and Racing Tasmania. Both brothers also host their own podcast called 'The Racing Show' in which they discuss all things Australian Horse Racing with Reviews, Previews and everything in between. You can listen to The Racing Show on Patreon and Spotify which are both linked below. Enjoy this insightful conversation with the Noonan's and learn about their background, how they go about doing form before a race, and why Mounting Yard analysis has become so pivotal within the wagering landscape. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- https://www.betfair.com.au/hub/ https://twitter.com/Betfair_Aus https://www.instagram.com/betfair_aus https://www.facebook.com/betfairaustralia https://www.patreon.com/TheRacingShow https://open.spotify.com/show/3yFiJ3beFL7WTw9K7uMEqd?si=9666b114e3c74e22 https://x.com/TheRacingShow ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 0:00 Intro 0:42 Background in racing 5:38 Racing stories 8:21 Race calling & mounting yard analysis 11:20 Why race calling is so important 16:09 Trav's race calling process 18:30 Eye vs data 25:08 Advice for future race callers 27:01 Greg Miles calls Sunline vs Lonhro 28:37 Nick's favourite race callers 29:29 Emotional race calling vs scripted 30:26 Calling photo finishes 31:49 Why Nick analyses from mounting yard. 34:19 Utilising mounting yard analysis with Betfair markets 39:23 Vauban & Romantic Warrior mounting yard examples 42:41 How form analysis can change 44:41 The Racing Show 45:46 Benefits of using Betfair over other WSP's 50:01 Wrap up & Outro

Recovering from being laid off | Emotional & psychological aspects | Coping mechanism’s | Ravikanth Jagarlapudi Having a positive & strong mindset helps to cope with a lay off, I have observed how some of my colleagues were able to quickly navigate & move on to either join a new corporate, or taking up freelancing projects or by pursuing their passions. A lay off is an excellent opportunity to sit back, reskill, re-strategize, look at alternate roles, reconnect with long lost friends/relatives and literally come out with a refreshed attitude to take on new challenges. I welcome you to walk alongside with me on this path, understand & execute the tricks of the trade & flourish in your life! Extending a warm welcome again to this podcast - Lets Begin! Gecko Theory Gecko Theory Gecko Theory are an independent 4-piece alt rock band from Melbourne. They are a throwback to the gritty, the raw, the albums you used to lay the needle down oh so slowly before each listen. No backing tracks. No auto tune. No fucking face paint, big hair or makeup… just 4 mates who wanna write some fuckin rock n roll!Their major influences range from the thunderous intensity of Danny Carey of Tool, and melodic bass lines of the Stone Temple Pilots. From the sonorous growl of early 90’s grunge pioneers Cornell & Cobain to the pitch perfect wails of Dimebag & Hendrix. Day One Leadership Podcast Drew Dudley If you could sit down with yourself the morning of your first day of high school, what advice would you give? What values would you encourage that junior version of you to define and pursue each day? If you got to start over on Day One and start building yourself into the person and leader you want to be, what would be your first move? The Day One Leadership Podcast asks leaders of all types, backgrounds, and ages those questions and more, as we explore what values drive leaders, and lay out strategies to help you and your teams live them each day.
