Formalising Early Childhood Development: Last July, Basic Education Minister Siviwe Gwarube launched the Bana Pele Early Childhood Development (ECD) centres registration drive nationwide, aimed at ensuring that all ECD centres across the country are formally registered and compliant. The initiative seeks to improve standards, safety and access to quality early learning.
