Archbishop Rowan Williams, former Archbishop of Canterbury and Master of Magdalene College, Cambridge was in Rome to celebrate the canonisation of Saint Óscar Romero on Sunday 14 October 2018. In the hours after the canonisation Mass, in which the Catholic Church gained seven new saints, Dr Williams gave us his thoughts on St Romero and his legacy. Over 60,000 people witnessed the canonisations and the bustling streets you hear in the background are testament to the excitement of the day.
