Jon Long is the creator of The Renaissance Workshop, an arts and humanities initiative aimed at widening interaction with traditional Western art and culture. A history and philosophy graduate, Jon, a former cage fighter, began his successful art enterprise with weekly life drawing classes in the tradition of the workshop practice of the artists of Renaissance Florence. These were accompanied by creative workshops in London galleries and museums. Today, Jon's classes take place online to a global audience, where he brings together the history and development of Western art and philosophy to promote an authentic connection to our cultural DNA.
