Former employee accused of physically assaulting child at Hatboro day care

A man is accused of physically assaulting a child at the day care where he used to work in Hatboro, Montgomery County. Hatboro police said they received a complaint back in March that 42-year-old Thomas Coleman physically assaulted a child at the KinderCare on Warminster Road, near Byberry Road, where he was an employee. An investigation was conducted, and on June 18, Coleman was arrested and charged with felony endangering the welfare of a child and simple assault. He is currently being held on $25,000 bail. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for next month.
