Former Fresno News Anchor Scammed & FCC Flooded With Messages
from Philip Teresi · host KMJ
A former Fresno news anchor, Alex Delgado, was scammed out of more than $70,000 after receiving a text message claiming to be from Robinhood, a stock trading app. Back in March, while getting ready for a trip and in a rush, Delgado received a text message claiming there was suspicious activity on her Robinhood account. The FCC has received over 16,000 comments from the public as it evaluates ABC’s petition that the “The View” should qualify as a “bona fide” news program, with many in support of the Disney-owned network and daytime talk show.
