Former Manual star, Kelsey assistant has Big 12 hoops on cutting edge

This episode of The C.L. Brown Show features Louisville native Brian Thornton, who serves as vice president of men's basketball for the Big 12 Conference. Thornton talks about how, despite growing up a Louisville basketball fan and attending Manual High, he ended up playing at Vanderbilt and later Xavier. He also gives insight on what it was like as an assistant coach under UofL coach Pat Kelsey at his first head coaching stop at Winthrop. Thornton then discusses his journey from playing to coaching to becoming an administrator.
