061: Danny McCubbin is an accomplished Social Media & Workplace Culture Consultant. In 2003, Danny began his long and successful career with chef and campaigner Jamie Oliver. He worked across his digital, social media & marketing platforms delivering on major campaigns, all with the combined aim to promote healthier food & home-cooking skills both in the UK and abroad. In his last role as Culture Manager for Jamie Oliver LTD, Danny was responsible for growing a corporate culture that brings Jamie's food ethos to life across the business. He has built an engaged social media community & regularly runs social media workshops for small & large businesses. Danny often speaks at international conferences on how food can be used as a force for positive change and is consulting with businesses on social media and workplace culture. He moved to Italy in 2020. The Australian media consultant snapped up a €1 house in Mussomeli, a rustic town of 11,000 people in Sicily's rugged hinterland. Last month, Danny set up the Good Kitchen. The charity trains chefs from across the world and prepares free sit-down meals and healthy food deliveries for the town's disadvantaged people.
