Former professional stock car racing driver and environmental activist Leilani Münter is the latest to feature on the Plant Based News Podcast. Münter, who is an advocate for renewable energy, solar power, electric cars, plant-based diet, and animal rights, sits on the board of three non-profits: Ocean Preservation Society, Empowered By Light, and EarthxFilm. She also featured in the 2015 documentary Racing Extinction - which 'draws attention to mankind's role in a potential loss of at least half of the world's species'.
