Former SNL Musician JZ Zonars

from The Good, The Bad, and The Sequel · host Doug and Jamie

This week’s bonus episode is a special one for me because I am obsessed with Saturday Night Live.  The process of the show and the amazing sketches that come from it.  I interviewed former SNL Musician JZ Zonars who started there as an intern, he has a great story about how that came about, then climbed the ladder to eventually being a sketch musician.  After leaving SNL he became a record consultant and worked with John Mayer, Demi Lovato, System of a Down, and the Jonas Brothers.  I actually went to high school with their bass player Greg Garbowski and JZ had great things to say about him.  We also talked about former cast members, the birthplace of Ron Burgundy, some of the famous songs from the show, and so much more.   Review, Rate, and Share our podcast.
