Former Yoga Pit owner sentenced to prison in long-running Cache Valley child sex abuse case

A Brigham City man has been sentenced to state prison following a guilty plea in a child sexual abuse case that stretched across much of 2025 and involved allegations dating back several years. Taegen Matsu Udy, 29, was sentenced in First District Court in Logan after pleading guilty to two counts of sexual abuse of a child and one count of enticing a minor. All three convictions are second-degree felonies following charge reductions reached through plea negotiations with prosecutors.
