Although he ultimately failed, with just a shoestring budget Dunbar upended expectations earning 41% of the vote and establishing himself as a force to be reckoned with. We discuss his childhood in rural Alaska, his decision to become a lawyer, and how he ended up in the Alaska State Senate. But we begin by talking about the most recent US Supreme Court decisions that had just been released when we recorded this interview on the morning of Friday, June 30, 2023.
