Join lifelong best friends Helena and Anne-Marie for an honest, funny, and occasionally philosophical conversation about turning 40, what our younger selves imagined life would look like, and what getting older as a woman actually feels like. From societal expectations about aging and a brief history of what turning 40 has meant for women, to the biblical significance of 40 years and 40 days, we’re exploring what this milestone might mean beyond our initial resistance to it. For Helena, this birthday is especially meaningful: 40 years of life and five years cancer-free.
