Neo-soul percussion provides a rich, rhythmic texture, augmented by ambient interludes that float dreamily through the auditory space. Pizzicato strings accompany the vocalists throughout the piece, lending an air of playfulness and suspense, before ultimately giving way to a lush, legato texture in the piece's final resolution in C Lydian.
