Foster children charity in need of larger clothing
from Morning Report
When young people enter foster care, they often arrive at homes with little more than the clothes on their back and the rest of their belongings in a black rubbish bag. That was what Linda and Graeme Roil found when they first became foster carers in 2014. In 2017, they started Kids in Need Waikato. The charity now helps more than a thousand children in care and their caregivers, with regular care packs and a support network. But there's a gap in donations to Kids in Need Waikato, larger-sized clothing. The charity's co-founder Linda Roil spoke to Ingrid Hipkiss.
