'Foundation' Season 1, Episode 1 Deep Dive

On our first deep dive episode covering the Foundation by Apple TV, we break down episode one titled “The Emperor’s Peace.” In it, we meet Gaal Dornick, who has recently won a Galaxy-wide competition organized by Hari “The Raven” Seldon. Hari and his brainchild ‘psychohistory’ is at odds with the Imperium and the Genetic Cleon Dynasty because he believes the empire will fall. Join us as we provide commentary on the hit series, adapted from the original series written by Isaac Asimov. Many consider the Foundation the Godfather of the Sci-fi genre, having inspired classics like Dune and Star Wars. Well, after a 50 year battle to get adapted for the screen, we are in luck, because Apple TV has brought it to life and it is one of the most entertaining shows around currently.
