Foundations of Leadership-Be a problem Solver
from Believe for Bigger Hosted by Christina Jolly
Leadership isn't about having all the answers—it’s about being a person of influence who is willing to face problems, seek God for wisdom, and become part of the solution. Being a problem solver means learning to pray before reacting, gather the facts before making decisions, seek wise counsel, stay focused when distractions come, and be willing to involve others in the solution. As leaders, we will encounter problems in our homes, workplaces, churches, businesses, and communities. The question isn't whether problems will come; it's how we will respond when they do. It starts with a partnership with the Holy Spirit and asking God for the wisdom to solve the problem. God can use you to be the solution to a problem that others have only been willing to talk about. In leadership we don't just talk about the problem we are problem solvers. Your leadership may begin when you stop asking, “Who is going to fix this?” and start asking, “Lord, how can You use me?” In this series we will continue to talk about the foundations of leadership so stay tuned for next week's episode.
