Founder's Club - Episode 53: Andrew Hamilton’s Mission to Transform Pet Health with VETR.com

In this episode of Founder’s Club, host Dez DeCosta sits down with Andrew Hamilton, MIT-educated entrepreneur and founder of VETR.com, a company working to make pet health more affordable and accessible. Andrew opens up about the personal story that led him to launch VETR—losing his Great Dane during a family trip and facing thousands in emergency vet costs. That experience exposed the gaps in traditional veterinary care and inspired him to create a more efficient, cost-effective model for pet owners.Andrew also shares insights from his journey as a serial entrepreneur, from selling his first trading platform in his early 20s to building one of the largest compounders of generic antiparasitic drugs in the animal health space. He talks openly about failure, momentum, building before you’re ready, and what’s next for VETR—including a telehealth platform, affiliate tools for shelters and breeders, and plans to expand into prescription generics. To Learn More, visit: https://vetr.com
