Legendary Guitarist and founding member of the iconic Rock Band The Doors,  ROBBY KRIEGER Talks about  his latest group  "Krieger And The Soul Savages" and the legendary Jazz Club The Baked Potato and The Whisky A Go Go. Guests include Robby's pianist with The Soul Savages Ed Roth and legendary Trumpeter Sal Marquez who was part of Frank Zappa's Mothers of Invention, Woody Herman Orchestra, Buddy Rich Big Band and The Tonight Show Band with Leader Branford Marsalis. This interview includes some outtakes not heard on the Radio broadcast. The musical group Krieger & The Soul Savages play a unique blend of melodic, psychedelic rock and soul; with plenty of soul.  The band is comprised of guitarist Robby Krieger of the Doors; bassist Kevin Brandon (Aretha Franklin,Michael Jackson, Beyonce); Keyboardist Ed Roth (Brothers Johnson, Joe Walsh, Annie Lennox); and drummer Franklin Vanderbilt (Lenny Kravitz, Chaka Khan, and Stevie Wonder).
