Four farms identified for expropriation without compensation-says Ekurhuleni Mayor

SAfm — Ekurhuleni Mayor Mzwandile Masina insists that the city will expropriate land without compensation. Masina made the announcement yesterday saying the decision is aimed at serving the public interest and that this is their way of dealing with problems around the issue of housing. Parliament has held public hearings all around the country to hear the public's contributions on the expropriation of land without compensation and is yet to make a final decision on this. This, with the view of possibly amending Section 25 of the Constitution which will allow land to be taken. Krivani Pillay spoke to Masina.
