Our latest entry to the Global Mix returns with a striking recording by Australian powerhouse AK Sports. The talented DJ and producer gifted us with a fantastic entry to the series, as she highlights her wild and erratic style all while exploring a variety of driving, bass-focused genres. Buckle up, this gets crazy. Sydney-born, Los Angeles, and London-based AK Sports found herself pioneering nu-rave sounds through the means of high NRG sets that explore a multitude of genres that range from (but are not limited to) beefy breaks, deep-cut bass, and exhilarating blends of techno. This frenzy of sound can not only be heard throughout her sets but also within her immensely impressive productions too. AK Sports recently had the opportunity to host a Boiler Room in Los Angeles alongside her WARP MODE family, consisting of Ak Sports, Bianca Oblivion, and Star Eyes. Allowing her to showcase her fierce mixing style in real-time, with the recording due to be released later this year. Having released on Club Glow with Kessler, Dansu Discs, Raiders Records (Berlin), Toofelz Music, Mad Decent, and most recently on Bristol’s Shall Not Fade it is clear that AK remains dedicated to her craft. Not to mention a slew of remixes for artists like Bailey Ibbs and Pagan. She is constantly pushing the boundaries with her productions in an attempt to create an arsenal of chaotic compositions to light up dance floors worldwide. Her entry to the Four Four Global Mix Series is no different, as AK Sports continues to raise the bar with this slamming mix that explores and showcases the artists’ flair, encompassing a mixture of mind-bending textures and bass-driven sounds that results in AK Sports’ signature sound.
