Four Four Premiere: LUMI - Who Am I [HE.SHE.THEY. RECORDS]

Finnish DJ and producer LUMI will arrive on HE.SHE.THEY on the 3rd May with a 3-track EP titled ‘Who Am I’. Merging her heritage with her explorative musical nature, LUMI has quickly established herself as an artist of both style and substance. HE.SHE.THEY is a platform designed for those who push boundaries, creating a sanctuary, a place without prejudice and where people can be people. Over just three tracks LUMI is able to demonstrate an intuitiveness for her sound that has been key to her early success. Title track ‘Who Am I’ is a slow-burning, tech house jaunt starting off with flurries of powdery glitch effects before the introduction of a jagged synth, thumping tribal drumming, and LUMI’s icy, echoing vocals. “Who Am I is about the concept of finding myself and figuring out where I belong/where I’m going especially as it relates to my music” says LUMI.
