Four Four Premiere: RAAB - Porto Covo [HRLA]

Today's premiere showcases Dublin native RAAB's latest EP release titled 'Moment In Time' on HRLA which will act as the imprint's final release of the year. The release consists of 6 stellar tracks that traverse various aspects of techno that make for an intriguing yet well-rounded and crisp listen from start to finish. Today's premiere shines a light on the prolific Dublin DJ and producer RAAB as he gears up for a breathtaking 6-track EP release courtesy of HRLA. RAAB finds himself in good company among the label's alumni as he joins esteemed artists such as Dylan Fogarty, Cult, SJUSH, Havik and more on the imprint as 'Moment In Time' concludes the label's releases for the year. The EP ranges vastly within the realm of techno although it predominantly fuses sounds of the early 2000s with raw driving synths, melodies and percussion to top it all off. The track in question, 'Porto Covo', taps into RAAB's melodic side of his productions as he combines lush pads and light keys while still maintaining a high degree of dreamy energy throughout. Accompanied by elements of perky percussion which results in a track that incites introspective thought all while preserving the groove from the get-go. The track exudes true elegance and is destined to be heard on dance floors somewhere soon.
